I would be happy to give you my two cents
about the photo session, I thought it was great, I talked about it all weekend. It really was the best session we
have ever had. It was relaxed there was no time crunch, you guys gave the kids time to relax and were able
to capture them in a way no photographer ever has. I am completely sold on your studio and your style. The
fact that Fred took about 200 pictures is completely unheard of for a portrait shot of a two year old. The only
problem I have is that their really are so many great pictures I don't know which to choose. Fred truly
captured the essence of Alida and Lou he got pictures that no other studio would ever get, because he let
them be them, instead of stuffing them into poses that everyone who was at the studio before and after got
their kids stuffed into. The pictures are real, where else would I get a picture of my kids tackling each other,
which is what they really do, and have the smiles and excitement of the moment captured? I like your team
effort and the fact that you are relaxed, easy going and you work with the kids and the family. I think you
guys are headed for a big future in photography and I am so glad we found you. I really wouldn't hesitate a
second to recommend you to anyone. Our soccer picture was great, our school picture was great and I
really can't say enough about the pictures from the house. You have more than proven you are versatile to
any situation and I hope you get the chance to do all the pictures for all the Plainville schools and athletics. It
would be nice to support someone from town instead of one of the big business' that you don't know who
they are. I seems to be foremost by everyone in town to show what a great place we live in and what a great
small town we are and we should show it by supporting our own business' first.

My name is Dorothy Potter.

I am a mother of three children, 4 if you include
my husband. I have used so many places to try and get good family shots of
my family or just my children. Fred and his wife are the most sincere
photographers I have ever used. They are patient and will spend as much time
as necessary to get the perfect shot. The other places that I have gone to,
like the mall, the kids that take the shots with all the gimmicks don't give
you or your family the personal attention you need. I always felt like I was
rushed - and with a two year old - rushing is not an option. There was one
girl who actually rolled her eyes at me because my child was afraid and
wouldn't sit still. Those so called photographers do that as a part time job
and aren't true artist like Fred. Fred actually wrestled and played with my
children so that they were comfortable with him and he made them laugh. He
took true pictures that represented my kids. He listens to what I wanted and
incorporated it. I never felt rushed or felt uneasy. They have a great
studio in their home where it is just you and your family. There is just one
problem. I got so many great shots I wanted them all. Their proof books,
which are so reasonably priced, captures the entire positive experience. To
my astonishment, Fred took as many shots as it took with as many different
poses as we wanted for one reasonable seating fee. I didn't need to pay
extra to get head shots of my children and then getting all my children
together and then again the whole family together. I was able to pick and
choose the shots, with whatever cropping I wanted, as well as the color
scheme. Fred is a genius who loves what he does. I recommend him
whole-heartedly. I have used Frederick West Photography for two years now
and will NEVER go anywhere else! There are no gimmicks or hidden costs - just
true photography. I could go on and on with all the positives. But trust me,
use them, you will not be disappointed. I have recommended their service to
many friends and families - and they have all thanked me for the tip. If you
are like me and love to capture your family growing then go see Fred!
